About Kyara/Agarwood


Agarwood is a fragrant wood produced in limited areas in Southeast Asia, mainly Vietnam. Among the agarwood, the one that is considered to be of high quality is called ``kyara''.


At Nippon Kodo, we carefully select Kyara and agarwood from Vietnam, which are now difficult to obtain, and produce them in the winter to preserve their fragrance. Skilled craftsmen carefully finish each piece.
